The
PLCs or programmable logic controllers that are manufactured by the GE Fanuc
Company in Series 90-70 are made up of several connected components such as
power supplies, CPUs, and different I/O systems and optional modules. Exactly
how many and what kinds of components will be installed in a given Series 90-70
programmable logic controller depends on what kinds of applications that the
controller will be used for.
Users can customize the
design of their Series 90-70 controllers to suit all of their application
needs. Some of the components that can be supported by the Series 90-70
programmable logic controllers include Genius I/O, Field Control I/O, rack-type
I/O, a remote I/O scanner, a programmable coprocessor module, an alphanumeric
